Why we like it: These guys are constantly redefining their sound and that’s probably my favorite thing about them. This is their first release with Jake Spek (Lewd Acts). This is also a pretty big departure from Life/Less. Trilogy 4, 5 and 6 hit like a bag of bricks, they’re done so fucking well. I’ve been reading a bunch of other reviews saying that the other albums weren’t done as well and I’m going to call bullshit on that. These guys have put out nothing but solid records and while this one is brilliant, there is no reason to say that the other ones were “lacking” anything. I’m currently loving this, you should be too.
